Our Mission
Our mission is to help with Caring for Pets and Neighbors in a Tight Economy.
Can you imagine having to give up your pet because you can't afford to feed it, or can't afford the medicine or veterinary care it needs? We're working hard to make sure local families don't have to face that horrible prospect.
Animal companions are often the only source of unconditional love for many people who have fallen on hard times; unfortunately, they are often the victims of economic difficulties. Animal shelters today are seeing an increase in surrenders due to foreclosures and job loss.
Some people are embarrassed. It’s hard to lose your job and have to ask for help.
But everyone needs help at one time or another. Remember PRIDE will not feed your pet !
